Frequently Asked Questions
The questions we are asked most often about purity, documentation, ordering and delivery. If yours is not here, write to us — we answer within an hour on weekdays.
For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Are these products safe for human use?
No. Every product supplied by NeuroPept is intended strictly for laboratory and scientific research. Our compounds are not medicinal products, are not approved for human or veterinary use, and must not be used for diagnosis, treatment or the prevention of any disease. We do not provide dosing or administration guidance of any kind.
What purity can I expect?
Standard catalogue purity is ≥98% as measured by HPLC. For most sequences we can supply ≥99% on request. The purity stated on your Certificate of Analysis is the measured value for your specific lot, not a generic specification.
Does every order include a Certificate of Analysis?
Yes. Each batch is analysed by HPLC for purity and by mass spectrometry for identity, and the resulting certificate ships with the order. The lot number on the certificate matches the lot code printed on your vial.
Who performs the analysis?
Batch analysis is carried out by accredited third-party laboratories, which is what makes the result independent of us. Certificates state the analysing laboratory, the lot, the date and the measured values.
Can you synthesise a peptide that is not in the catalogue?
Yes — custom synthesis is a core service. Send us the sequence, any modifications, the purity you need and the quantity, and we will quote feasibility, price and lead time. Unusual amino acids, D-amino acids, labels and cyclisation are all supported.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Catalogue compounds are sold in standard vial quantities shown in the catalogue. For custom synthesis, minimums depend on sequence length and difficulty; we confirm this in the quotation.
How long does synthesis take?
Catalogue items ship from stock where available. Custom synthesis typically takes 2–4 weeks depending on sequence length, modifications and purity target. Express 48-hour synthesis is available for qualifying short sequences.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery is 5–7 business days within the EU and 7–14 business days internationally, from our facility in Rotterdam. Shipments are tracked and cold-chain packaged where stability requires it.
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship to more than 60 countries. Customers are responsible for compliance with import regulations in their own jurisdiction. If you are unsure about your country, ask us before ordering.
How should I store the material?
Lyophilised powder is stable at −20 °C for up to 24 months. Once reconstituted, store at 2–8 °C and use within the window stated for that compound, typically 14–30 days. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles and protect light-sensitive compounds from light.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfer and cryptocurrency payments including Ethereum, Bitcoin, Polygon, Base and Solana. Payment details are confirmed with your quotation.
Can I return an order?
Because research compounds are temperature- and handling-sensitive, opened or temperature-compromised products cannot be returned. Quality complaints must be raised within 7 days of receipt with photographic evidence and the lot reference, and we will investigate against the retained sample.
Do you supply to private individuals?
We supply research institutions, universities, biotech companies and qualified research professionals. By ordering, a customer warrants that they are legally authorised to receive research compounds in their jurisdiction and will use them solely for laboratory research.
Need a quote or a custom sequence?
Send us the sequence, quantity and purity you need. Our synthesis team replies within one hour on weekdays.
